Meeting: Salem Licensing Board was held Monday, August 2, 2012 at 4:00 pm in the second floor conference room, 93 Washington Street. Present were members John Casey, Rick Lee, Investigator for the Board, Peter Baglioni and Melissa Pagliaro, Clerk. Absent was Chairman, Robert St. Pierre.
Dismissed: Application for One Day Liquor License. Applicant: Bowditch Institute. Present: Rebecca Putnam.
After speaking to Ms. Putnam it was decided that a License was not required.
Approved: Application for a Farmers Market Winery License. Applicant: Kipton Kumler owner Turtle Creek Wineryin Lincoln, Ma.
Mr. Kumler said that he has been in business 14 years and said he was a factor in writing the legislation for Farmers Market licenses. He said he knows he is coming in late in the season.
Mr. Casey asked when he will start.
Mr. kumler said when he is approved by the Board.
Mr. Lee motioned to approve.

Approved: Application for Street Performers License. Applicant: Robert Brown Lavoie
Mr. Brown Lavoie said that he is going to play the guitar and sing.
Mr. Lee asked if he received the new regulations.

Mr. St. Pierre said all in favor. Motion carries.
Approved: ABCC request to change Officers/Directors for the 99 Restaurants.

OLD/NEW: *OLD – Mr. Casey said that he saw there have been more issues in the police log regarding noise with the Black Lobster.
Mr. St. Pierre said he cannot tell a band what lyrics to sing but can call them in for complaints. He said he would like to have this item be placed under communications for Det. Baglioni to discuss at the Sept. 10th meeting.
